Yeah… joining a club comes with other little “perks”. Once a year my club organizes a training weekend which has twofold benefits: besides 3 days of swimming, cycling, running and also transition training (which I loved since I finally got the hang of the basics of getting on and off the bike in the transition area), there’s the obvious social part which is also important.
This year the long ride of the training weekend was 108km around our base camp near Apeldoorn. This meant parts of the Hoge Veluwe National Park, riding along the Ijssel, passing through Deventer, some small climbs and even some off-road parts 🙂
During the ride I had my GoPro mounted on the aero-bars and below is our ride compressed in 1:45 minutes.
